General Shootout Information:
The Shootout is designed for Middle School girls who really enjoy the sport and are very interested in playing in high school.
Players:
Must be in middle school. No high school players allowed.
Must be US Lacrosse members in good standing (membership must not have expired on or before May 15, 2010).
Must have signed waivers in team packet.
Teams:
Shootout is open to club teams, recreational league teams, and hybrid teams.
It is expected that teams will be comprised mostly of 7th and 8th graders. Please think carefully about including 6th graders.
Teams register online.
Payment must be received by May 1st.
Teams must sign in with rosters and waivers prior to playing first game.
Games:
12 v 12, full field, 25-minute games, running time, central horn.
Four (4) games per team - plan for a full day of lacrosse.
Jamboree style - no standings or playoffs.
Modified check, no minimum pass rule.
