Fall Ball 2010
Fall Ball is a great way to provide a fun and exciting environment for those girls looking to stay active in organized softball during the fall season. Two types of teams will be formed for each age division; “Chaos” which is more competitive, and "Recreational" which is more instructional. “Chaos” teams will play in the North County Winterball Assocation (NCWA) League and "Recreational" teams will play in the San Dieguito Youth Softball League.
Fees, which includes a uniform are:
8U - $100
10U, 12U, 14U & 16U - $130
Most divisions will play double header games every Sunday for about 8 weeks. The exception is the Recreational 8U team(s) in the San Dieguito League which will only play one game on Sunday. Games are expected to start the first weekend in September and run through the end of October. Games are played at Calavera and around North San Diego County areas. It is generally very local such as Oceanside, La Costa, Encinitas or San Marcos. “Chaos” teams may travel a bit farther. Practices are usually held once or twice a week depending on the manager. The season will end with a weekend tournament on the first or second weekend in November.
Due to the limited field time and limited number of Managers during Fall Ball, all players who register are NOT guaranteed a spot on a team.
Chaos managers (teams play in NCWL) select their players from the list of registered players.
SDIL rosters are formed by the CSA board along with the managers for each division, after the Chaos rosters are formed.
For parents that would like to manage or coach a team, please complete a separate registration for yourself during this process.
