TRYOUTS IN ORDER TO TRYOUT / PRACTICE (including u8s) - NO RELEASE, NO TRYOUT. Blank release is found on our club website under 'forms.'

2012 TRYOUT SCHEDULE:

U10s through U16s: Tryouts held on the following days from 5:30-7:30pm at
Clifton Commons:

U17s and U18s: Must pre-register online to be considered for a team. The
number of players registered and space availability will dictate if a tryout
will take place. We will keep players apprised of our plans through SportsSignup email. If a player has even the slightest interest, please pre-register online so we consider you and so you can stay informed. Pre-registration will not bind you to playing, but should your plans change, please contact our registrar so player's name can be removed.

This site is for player PRE-REGISTRATION for tryouts and for u8 & u17/u18 signups. Pre-registraiton: open from April 15 to midnight of June 23, 2012 for all divisions except u8s and u17/u18s. A child must be 6 years old by 7/31/12 to be a u8 player - no exceptions. The u8 division will remain open until September 1, and the u17/u18 division will remain open until we reach capacity. There is no cost to pre-register for tryouts.

This site will also be used for TRAVEL team registration (after August 15, 2012) once player has been offered and accepted a position on a team following tryouts. Once selected, COACHES AND MANAGERS MUST ALSO REGISTER ONLINE. Travel registration is currently closed. The cost to play the 2012-2013 season is $200.00 per player. This cost includes the cost of one uniform (jersey with name, shorts and socks), alternate jersey with name, indoor gym time during winter months, CDYSL registration, ENY registration, a portion of tournament fees, referee fees and club administrative fees. No refunds will be issued.

TRAVEL TEAM REGISTRATION: (after tryouts): We accept credit or debit cards for payment only -no checks. A $30 LATE FEE WILL BE ASSESSED EFFECTIVE OCT. 1, 2012.

In addition, certain teams next year may have a paid coach (specific teams yet to be retermined) and another $250.00 will be collected on or before December 1st from each player on the team. Checks are payable to the club and will be collected from team managers. This subsidizes part of the cost for the paid coaches of these teams.

NEW LAST YEAR:

Players/ player parents and all coaches and managers on a team roster (i.e. coaches, assistant coaches and managers) will need to save photos of either themselves and/or their child on their computer and then upload the photo(s) to this site as part of the travel registration process. Hard copies of photos will no longer be collected from team managers.

Introduction

The purpose of the Clifton Park Soccer Club is to teach the game of soccer to youth of the community; to operate a youth soccer club and help in developing the character of youth of the community and to foster and engage in competition for the furtherance of the above purposes.

Eligibility

Boys and Girls TRAVEL team players, U8-U18/19, must reside within the boundaries of the Town of Clifton Park or the Shenendehowa School District to tryout and play for the club.

Our Boys and Girls PREMIER teams are now managed by NY Elite. This includes U10 - U19 divisions. NY Elite accepts players from the greater Capital District.
