Adult Disc Golf League 2012
Registration closes tomorrow
Adults will play a "Flex" schedule (Players will be assigned to play each other by a certain date and turn in the score card). Registration includes a PDGA towel, rule books, and score cards. Players are encouraged to buy their own discs. CPRD will have discs available for check-out. Innova Discs given to the league winners.

Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m.; This class is for people who have never attempted drawing or would like a review of basic drawing. The class will concentrate on learning the elements of drawing (line, shape, perspective, shading, etc...) and will use the mediums: graphite, charcoal and pen & ink.
Dining Etiquette & Manners Course Spring 2012

6:00pm; Brighton Park; We all want our children to be well behaved in public, especially when it comes to dining. This course is geared specifically toward children grades 1st - 6th. We will teach them proper dining etiquette in an environment full of peers as their support.

8:00am - 5:00pm; During this week long camp the the participants will be exposed to a variety of different sports, crafts and games that help improve social skills, encourage team work and spark creativity. Snacks and lunch are included.
Camp hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am -5:00pm

Youth will play on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings and will be supervised by a CPRD staff member (volunteer coaches are welcome!). Registration includes a PDGA towel, rule books, and score cards. Innova Discs given to league winners.
9th Annual Mayor's Golf Scramble 2012 Hole Sponsorship
Hole sponsorships are $125 and includes a hole sponsor sign and sponsor name printed on all event t-shirts. During the registration process, we will collect the information regarding what name to put on the sponsor sign and t-shirt. Deadline is March 9th so that sponsor signs and shirts can be ordered.
**This sponsorship does not include a team entry. If you would like to enter a team into the event, please contact our office at (601) 924-6082.
Youth Disc Golf Tournament 2012
Tournament is played on Saturday, March 17th at Brighton Park Disc Golf Course. Open to children ages 7-17 as of March 1st. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. and play begins by 9:00 a.m. Kids will be split up by age group and play through the nine-hole course twice for 18 holes of official play. Players are recommended to bring their own discs but CPRD discs are available for use. Shirts and lunch provided to all players. Medals and Innova Discs to the winners.

Challenger League Softball Spring 2012

Clinton Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer leagues for those with mental and/or physical disabilities. These programs are geared toward modifying and adapting toward the individuals' playing ability, while assisting with the development of physiological, psychological and socialogical skills. Challenger League is developed to provide an athletic environment with various skill levels so that individuals receive a challenge through games and practices. Each program will consist of regular league play, practices and uniforms with modified rules.

Sign Language 101 Spring 2012

Thursdays in April at 6pm; Do you have a friend or a loved one who is non-verbal and you want to find a way to communicate and interact with them? Or have you just always wanted to learn sign language? Well, this class is for you. SL 101 is beginner level sign language course that teaches the basics in American Sign Language. Pre-requisite to SL 201.
Summer 2012 Adult Instructional Tennis

Played at Brighton Park. Program will run approximately 6 weeks and will be held on Tuesday nights and/or Saturday mornings. Participants will be contacted via email after registration is complete. Players need to provide their own racquet.
Summer 2012 Adult Tennis League

Singles and Doubles Leagues. Played at Brighton Park. Players will play a "Flex" schedule (players will be assigned to play each other weekly and turn in the score). League will start in April and end around mid-May, depending on the number of adults registered. Players must provide their own tennis balls and racquets.
Summer 2012 Youth Instructional Tennis

Players need to provide their own racket. Sessions will be on Tuesday nights and/or Saturday mornings.

Online Registration Information
Since this system is new, please read the following to help make your registration process go smoothly. All registration needs to be done through this system. If you have any questions regarding your registration please send an email to the registrar.
1. All families will be required to create an account the first time logging into our system. Please add all family members, players and parents by choosing the add children or add adult options (alternate contact information such as phone numbers and emails can be added when another adult is added to the account).
2. After the account is created this registration system will be used to register and make payments for any of the available programs. Through the registration system you will have access to all account information, including payments due, payments received, due dates, outstanding balances, etc.
3. Clinton Parks and Recreation accepts Visa/MasterCard and Debit Cards.
4. If you have multiple players, please register them all at the same time. To do this after completing one registration click the continue shopping button to register another player.
5. The entire registration process occurs over a secure server using the highest security currently available.
