The Soccer Booster Club provides funding for the Annual Banquet, Awards, Scholarships for senior players, Modified Parties, funding for Team Development as well as equipment the school district is unable to provide. The Club needs your support to maintain the quality of the program for our student-athletes that they have grown accustomed to. Your volunteer time and effort as well as support of the fundraisers is appreciated.
FUNDRAISERS
We will have our annual candy sale. Each player will be required to sell 1 box of candy(50 pieces for $50 prepaid) or have the option of paying $35. in lieu of selling candy. Proceeds from this go toward the cost of the Banquet or Modified Party for each player. We will also be having another fundraiser this year, yet to be announced.
MEET THE PLAYERS AND COACHES NIGHT for all High school players will be held on Thursday September 1st. 7:00pm CCHS. Modified meet the player night - TBD CONCESSION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!The team representatives will be contacting parents to schedule concession stand duty. Please help us out if you can. The stand is open during the 4:00 home games. It will also be open for all night games, Saturday games and sectionals held at our fields. Opening the concession stand for the sectional games is a great fundraiser for our soccer program. SAVE THESE DATES!!!!!
SOCCER BANQUET- This year’s Awards Banquet for high school players will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Italian American Community Center. Look for an invitation to come to each high school player’s family near the end of October.
2011 SOCCER SCHOLARSHIPS
The 2011 Applications will be mailed to all current senior players in October. Applications must be received by the deadline on the application to be considered for an award. All applicants who return the application by the deadline will receive some level of award. All Senior players will also be asked for a high school portfolio for Senior Recognition Night to be held on 10/21 for girls and 10/25 for boys. SOCCER BOOSTER CLUB MEETINGS are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm in the West Wing cafeteria at the high school. Please bring ideas and join us! First Meeting is September 1st at 6:30pm. WE NEED YOU! MIDDLE SCHOOL PIZZA PARTYModified players at Lisha Kill and Sand Creek Middle Schools will play each other at the high school, followed by an end-of-the-year pizza/recognition party also taking place at the high school. Please watch backpacks for a reminder notice with all the details near the end of the season!!!
PROGRAM ADS
We are collecting ads to be put in the banquet program booklet. Please call Kim Cardillo at 452-9932 if you know of a business that may be interested in advertising in the booklet, or if you have a business of your own that you would like to advertise. We need your support! $10 family patron ads will also be collected for the banquet book. Forms will also be available at Meet the Players Night and at Open House.
All proceeds from the program ads go directly to the athletes in the soccer program.
BOOSTER CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Sign up online when you resigster and or we will be accepting membership applications at Meet the Players Night on September 1st ,and at Open House. The cost of membership is $5.00 per family. Please support the booster club through membership! Members receive monthly meeting notes via e-mail. Anyone interested in the Colonie soccer program is welcome to attend the monthly booster club meetings but only members have voting privileges and can run for office.
