Coral Springs American is proud of its history and we realize these are tough times we are all facing. So keeping in mind the economic troubles, we have not increased the player registration fee again this year. We also honor families in our league with our multi-player discount of $25 per sibling and the fourth is free.

We would like to introduce the Bring-A-Buddy program. Where if you bring a new player into the league you get $25 off your registration fee. Each additional new “Buddy” you get registered in the league you will continue to get $25 off your registration fee. We may even end up paying you for bringing “Buddies” into the league. New Buddies must either have been out of the league for two full years or have never played in our league before, sorry this does not include T-Ball going to LL players.

We also are tightening up our belts and requiring our managers and coaches to ump at least three games this season. As umpiring has been the greatest expense we incur during the season, we will save a lot of money that can be used in other areas of the league. Many neighboring leagues have all volunteer umpires and DO NOT PAY their umpires at all. Umpire clinics will be held for every manager and coach that completes the application process. This means a prospective coach will attend at least two umpire clinics and be given a list of the most common issues that arise during Little League games. Brand new coaches will be given a copy of LL Umpire guide and other helpful handouts.

All adult volunteers, managers, coaches, umpires and Board of Directors are required to complete a volunteer application each year. Managers/Coaches must also complete the commitment form prior to even being considered for a position.

Finally, if we haven’t scared you away yet! Little League requires us to acquire a Medical Release, Code of Conduct, three proofs of residency, and a copy of the original birth certificate for our files. There is also a Uniform Size Sheet that we need completed as well. We do ask that each registrant bring three proofs of residency to the tryouts with them along with the birth certificate or you can mail them to us:
