Registration for 2012 is now open
Please be sure to review the code of conduct at the bottom of this page.
Welcome to the Danvers Youth Football (DYF) on-line registration site. We will once again use this system as a way to obtain accurate and complete information about each family and players for our program. This system will allow families to register for the fall program 24 hours a day, seven days a week using a MasterCard or Visa credit card or payment by check via the mail. This system will allow you to set up an account (one time effort), then register one of more players for the season. If you created an account in the past, you can use the same account for the upconing season. You do not have to create a new account. If you cannot remember your account info, please contact the registrar by e-mailing at DYFRegistrar@gmail.com. The system will automatically calculate individual player fees or a family rate. You will receive e-mail confirmation once you complete the registration process. In addition, we request that each parent that would like to be a coach, assistant coach or volunteer for a position to help a team or our organization also register for one of these positions during the registration process.
This system will allow DYF to manage the registration process, construct teams, create e-mail communication lists and give the coaching staff access to selected player information collected during this process. We anticipate a more efficient registration process and improved communication to the players and parents. This process should take you no longer than 15 minutes to complete if have all the required mandatory information available prior to starting the registration process. This information includes:
- Full contact information for each parent/guardian including mailing addresses (they can be different) telephone numbers (home, work and cell phone) and e-mail addresses (you can have more than one per parent/guardian). You will also be requested to provide an emergency contact and contact telephone numbers.
- You will need to provide information on the player including gender, nick names, birth dates and the player’s school grade for the upcoming school year.
- You will need to provide complete health information for each player including primary care physician, name of practice/hospital associations, address, telephone number, health insurance provider and health insurance policy number. Note: all these fields are mandatory.
Upon completion of the on-line registration, you will be provided instructions for completing the process, such as payment by check, providing birth certificates and coaching applications. If you have any questions during this process, please feel free to contact me.

It is therefore essential for parents, coaches and officials to encourage their youth football players to embrace the values of good sportsmanship, discipline and character development. To ensure that this goal is reached each player is expected to follow the guidelines below. Players Code of Conduct:

Coaches are to place the emotional and physical well being of his players ahead of his desire to win. Coaches will lead by example in demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to his players. Swearing and excess physical contact will not be tolerated and complaints of such shall be referred to the President for further action.
Parents and other spectators are expected to express their enthusiasm positively during games. Any negative expressions (booing, jeering, etc.) will be considered in violation of this code. Furthermore, parents/spectators are not to approach coaches during or immediately after a game with questions or complaints relative to playing time, positions, game strategy, etc. These matters should be taken up in a private conversation at a later (and less emotional) time.
Danvers Youth Football, Inc. hopes to enhance the development of its participants. Our goals are to benefit the children who choose to participate. The above guidelines are set as a reminder that as parents and coaches we are to act as positive examples for our children to follow. With your help, these disciplinary measures may never need to be imposed.
