Spring 2012 - Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association Premier League
Welcome to the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association's Premier League. This league has been formed to provide a consistent higher level of competition for teams throughout Eastern New York. As such, this league is affiliated with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA), the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Here are some requirements you should know about this league:
ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES:
· Teams can apply to the Premier League if they are a Division I team that has placed first or second in their division in the Spring of the prior program year.
· Teams that have participated in Region I Premier Leagues and are opting not to return.
· Teams that are State Cup Championship Finalist the prior program year.
· Division winners of the previous year’s Premier League (formerly Presidents League).
Teams must demonstrate a continuity of roster from the previous year to the current year. To demonstrate continuity of roster, a minimum of 51% of the players from the team's previous year roster must be on the team's current roster.
- DIVISIONS: Boys and Girls Divisions from U12 to U18
- SEASON: The season will typically run from middle to late March until the later part of June.
- GAMES: Games will be scheduled both home and away. Please be aware that ENYYSA covers a large geographic area and you might be expected to play anywhere from the eastern tip of Long Island to the northern reaches of the Capital District and as far west as Utica.
Please note: The registration fee is $450.00 and for Boys & Girls U17 & U18 there is an additional $1,000 performance bond, to be returned upon season end, see rules for details.
Registration fees do not include referee fees. Teams will pay referees on field.
