Join us Saturday, August 20, 2011 for the 2nd Annual Hits for HARC Softball Tournament! Last year was such a great time, we decided to come back bigger and better than ever!
This year we will be at Mill Woods Park in Wethersfield, CT, with five diamonds available to us! All teams must pre-register so we can properly set up game times and notify you of your team's schedule in advance.
Proceeds raised at the Hits for HARC tournaments benefit HARC's year-round sports teams that participate in Special Olympics CT tournaments and events. HARC's recreation program and activities are always severely under-funded, especially with the current economic climate. Your support will help HARC's athletes compete to the best of their ability, with appropriate equipment and uniforms. Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more and / or see your dollars at work. Be careful, though, once you get involved you might never want to stop!
An exhibition game featuring HARC's softball team will take place at noon. We hope you will join us in cheering on our athletes. Food, music and activities will all be available throughout the day, so bring your friends and family with and help us make Hits for HARC 2011 a Grand Slam!
