Spring 2012 Softball

JUNIOR LEAGUE Only On-line. Contact Commissioner for all other divisions - softball@hyaabaseball.org. - HYAA offers baseball and softball programs to boys and girls aged 4 to 15. T-Ball (4-5) is the introductory league. Machine Pitch 30 (6) is a brand new division specifically designed for rising 6 yr olds. 7-8 baseball and softball utilize pitching machines and the older divisions are player pitch. Girls have the option of playing either baseball or softball.

Registrations Are Still Being Accepted for the following:

T-Ball and Baseball

(boys AND girls)

Junior League (13-15 yr old - delayed to May start, post Middle School)

Girls Softball

Softball (13-15 yr old girls only - delayed to May start, post Middle School)

Attention for girls with birthdates between 1/1/2005 and 4/30/2005: those players can only register for Machine Pitch 30 baseball. This will provide them the best opportunity in preparing for softball the following year.

Note: The goal is to maintain the softball age groups as noted above. However, enrollment will ultimately drive the shape of the group.
