LIJSL, Inc. Announces Our Full Day Field Player and Goalkeeper Summer Soccer Camps For Ages 8 to 16-cost per week $225

Camp Philosophy

Our camps are based on the idea that soccer must be a fun experience as well as developmental. Sportsmanship as well as competitiveness must be part of the game. Using our new updated curriculum, our program is designed to meet the needs of players at various levels of ability. Very strong emphasis is placed on the development of skills and their application in game related situations. The use of small-sided games ensures full participation by each player.

High Level instruction and role models: Staff, which relates well with players, now includes teachers from our local schools who are coaching soccer at the High School level as well as advanced college players who have all played in our league. An Athletic Trainer has also been added to our staff. All coaches have a coaching license and have gone through the risk management screening.

Ideal Ratios: Coach to player ratio is typically 1 coach to 10-14 players.

Ideal Divisions: Players are broken down by 2-year age group, ability and by gender when possible. Friends, teams kept together.

Tailor Made: Our camp curriculum is designed to allow our coaches to adjust the skills depending on the player’s age and abilities.
