These teams will participate in more competitive baseball as a weekend style all star team that plays locally against other communities. Games are currently planned for Sunday afternoons to allow players to compete on their house teams and on the competitive team during the season.

If you are a first time player within LOYBL you are required to present a birth certificate to your team manager or league board member for age verification.

"Draft Day" is slated for Sunday, March 11th. Players should be notified within about two weeks after the draft by their team managers. At which time they will be provided with their initial practice schedule dates and locations.

Practices for LOYBL Regular Season Session are slated to begin the week of April 9th. Majors division practices start in June. Majors Games are scheduled in June and thru the end of July.
Coaches will be notified that NO practices should be scheduled for the week of April 1st (**LO Schools Spring Break Week**).

There will be two parent meetings scheduled for an interactive session hosted by the league board members at Lake Orion High School. It is highly encouraged that all parents/guardians new to the league attend one of these informative sessions on the goals, objectives, and program LOYBL has in store for 2012. This is a great opportunity to meet and ask questions with our 2012 board and commissioners. Parent meeting scheduled for March 20th @ 7pm in the LOHS Kiva.
