Welcome to the 2009 Long Island Soccer Shoot Out! The tournament will be held Saturday August 22 and Sunday August 23, 2009. Your team will play four games over the weekend. Two (2) on Saturday and two (2) on Sunday. ELIGIBILITY: The Long Island Soccer Shoot Out is open to boys' and girls' competitive club teams. This is a USYSA sanctioned tournament through Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be in good standing with their state association. Permission to travel forms, validated players passes with photos, official team rosters and medical releases are required of all teams accepted into the tournament. Your own club medical release forms will be accepted.
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION IS THURSDAY AUGUST 13, 2009
Each coach or team representative must attend to receive their schedule, hand in roster, show health forms, guest player forms and get a game ball ticket. Location will be at the Stony Brook location at the clubhouse on south campus of Stony Brook University 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Food will be available.
AWARDS: Individual trophies are presented to 1st and 2nd place teams in age groups U10, U11 and U12. Individual Champion T-Shirts are awarded for 1st place finishers in U12 and up and Finalist T-Shirts are awarded for 2nd place finishers in U13 and up. ROSTERS: Maximum roster sizes: 12 for U10, 15 for U11, 18 for U12 thru U16 and 22 maybe rostered for U17 and up, but please note, only 18 may play per game. Up to three (3) guest players are permitted to ensure maximum roster size. LOCATION: All games are played at one of two locations - the Sachem Youth Soccer Complex in Holtsville, NY ot the Stony Brook Soccer Park in Stony Brook, NY The application fee is considered a non-refundable fee.
