Teams will play a minimum of two games in this tournament. Games consist of two (2) 20-minute halves. Each age division will have a maximum of eight teams per grade division.

This tournament is the exclusive Maine qualifier for the 2013 State Games of America, which is our national amateur sports festival. The 2013 SGA will be held in Hershey/Harrisburg, PA, July 31-August 1.

This is an amazing opportunity to take part in a national event with more than 10,000 amateur athletes in 30+ events. Medalists in this year's Maine Games basketball tournament will qualify for this event.

This track and field meet is open to all Maine athletes regardless of ability or affiliation. This is a non-sanctioned meet, using primarily USA Track and Field rules.

This meet is the exclusive Maine qualifying track and field meet for the 2013 State Games of America, which will be held July 31-August 5 (see website for event schedules), in Hershey/Harrisburg, PA. More than 10,000 athletes from all over the country are expected to compete in 35 different events at the 2013 State Games of America. Maine Games athletes must earn a medal in this year's track and field meet to qualify. Earning one medal in the Maine Games track and field meet will qualify an athlete for all events at the 2013 State Games of America track and field meet. This tournament is for women field hockey players at least 18 years of age (recently graduated high school seniors are eligible).

The 2012 Maine Games State Cross Country Championship is being held at the Medomak Valley High School Nature Trail. This 3.2-mile course is both scenic, and challenging with hills, sharp turns, and plenty of straight aways. The course is also one of the most spectator-friendly cross country courses in the state. The event is on Saturday, June 23.
