Welcome to the 2009 Maumelle Youth Football & Cheer Season!
We are excited to begin the fifth season of Maumelle Football & Cheer and are so glad you have decided to be a part. Our focus is to bring fun and exercise, healthy competition, lessons in good sportsmanship and leadership skills to the children of our community.
July 16th will mark the season Kick-off- 6 to 8 pm at the feild. A picture ID will be taken, uniforms will be fitted and all paperwork will be completed. All participants are required to provide a copy of a valid birth certificate (no originals please!). Additionally, parents and players will also be given a contract to sign. This contract outlines the behaviors that must be followed in order to provide a comfortable and safe environment in which to enjoy this sport. Failure to comply with either of these requirements will be cause to remove that child from the program.
Each child participating in our program is covered by a supplementary accident insurance policy. Should an injury occur, please contact your coach as soon as possible for more information.
We take your child's safety very seriously. Children must come to every practice and game in the appropriate attire and equipment, as applicable to their division. Flag and tackle players will not be allowed on the field without a helmet or mouth guard.
EVERY Head Coach and Assistant Coach is submitted to a criminal background check and must also agree to sign and abide by a Coach's Code of Conduct. Disciplinary issues are taken seriously and governed by the Board of Directors. Please contact the Board President Jeremy Higgins should you have any questions concerning either of these procedures.
Every parent is required to work concessions/admisions at least 1 1/2 hours during the season. However, as fun as that sounds, you are given the option to "buy-out" and we will hire a replacement for you.
