Baseball, Softball and Tee Ball 2012
Baseball, Softball and Tee Ball for children and youth through the West Houston Christian Sports Association (WHCSA). Girl's Divisions are Pre-Kindergarten - 6th grade and Boy's Divisions are also Pre-Kindergarten - 6th grade. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Divisions play Tee Ball. 1st-6th grade Girls play Softball and 1st-6th grade Boys play Baseball.
Volleyball for Girl's in grades 4 - 8. Girls will register for, and play in, one of four Divisions. Divisions are 4th grade Division, 5th grade Division, 6th grade Division and the 7th/8th grade (combined) Division. Girls may play up, or down, one Division.

Welcome and thank you your interest, and participation, in Sports and Recreation through Memorial Drive United Methodist Church (MDUMC). MDUMC has an outstanding ministry of Sports and Recreation for children and youth. Over 800 children and youth play team sports during the year through MDUMC. We are long standing members of the West Houston Christian Sports Association (WHCSA) and the Chapelwood Volleyball League.
We offer team sports opportunities, each school year, for Soccer, Basketball, Baseball/Softball/Tee Ball and Volleyball.
We, also, offer a Volleyball Camp every Summer for girls that will be entering the 4th-8th grades during the upcoming school year.
Coaches, for MDUMC teams, are recruited from parents and are certified in Safe Sanctuary, a Texas Annual Conference program to protect the safety of children and youth. To take the Safe Sanctuary ONLINE training, please visit:

Our sports seasons follow the school year calendar for the Spring Branch Independent School District. Our seasons are as follows:
MDUMC Girl's Volleyball Camp - Will be held the week of July 11-15, 2011. Camp will be two sessions per day; AM for girls that will be in 4th or 5th grade for the 2011-12 School year and those with 0 to 1 year of playing experience. The PM Session will be for more experienced players; those with 2 or more years of playing experience and entering the 6th grade - 8th grade for the 2011-12 School year. REGISTRATION - May 1 - June 4, 2011.
Soccer - Fall of each year. Offered for boys and girls Pre-K through 6th grades. The season for 2011 will run from 9/24/11 - 11/12/11. REGISTRATION - 7/10/11 - 8/14/11.
Basketball - Offered for boys and girls in Kindergarten through High School. The season for 2012 will be 1/7/12 - 3/3/12. REGISTRATION - 10/16/11 - 11/30/11.
Baseball/Softball/Tee Ball - MDUMC fields teams from Pre-K through 6th grade for both boys and girls. The season for 2012 will be 3/24/12 - 5/12/12. REGISTRATION - 1/15/12 - 2/19/12.
Volleyball - Offered to girls in 4th-8th grades. The season normally follows the same time frame as for Baseball/Softball/Tee Ball, but may deviate slightly depending on the dates for Spring Break. Girls may play Volleyball AND Softball simultaneously. REGISTRATION - 1/15/12 - 2/19/12.
