Welcome to Mt. Juliet Youth Football & Cheer Online Registration!
Mt. Juliet Youth Football & Cheer, Inc. (MJYFC) offers participation for boys and girls in recreational football and cheerleading. We are a non-profit organization that is managed completely by VOLUNTEERS.
Practices are held at Charlie Daniels Park which is located just off Mt. Juliet Rd. in Mt. Juliet, TN. Games are played at Charlie Daniels Park, Mt. Juliet Middle School and 21 other facilities around the middle Tennessee area. MJYFC is affiliated with and plays under the rules of the Tennessee Youth Football Alliance.
We are in the process of updating this site and plan to open registration on or before June 1, 2012. All participants must register online and attend one of the uniform fitting dates listed below.
Practice begins July 23, 2012 for both football and cheerleading.
Registration
- All participants must complete the online registration process regardless of payment option.
- Payment may be made online by credit or debit card. If you choose the cash payment option then payment must be made when you attend your uniform fitting.
- We no longer accept checks for payment.
- You must provide the actual legal name that is on your child’s Birth Certificate; we provide a separate place for nicknames. Please include your child’s middle name as well.
- A copy of a Government issued birth certificate is required to participate. It can not be the copy issued by the hospital or marked as “mothers copy”. If your child played with us last year, we can use the one you gave us at that time. If your child participated prior to last season (skipped 2011) then we will need a new copy.
- You can register your child to participate and/or yourself as a volunteer/coach for the season.
Participant Ages
Age is determined by participant’s age as of July 31. Birth Certificate is required to participate and should be turned in during uniform fitting. It must be a certified copy, not a hospital or mothers copy. Age groups are organized into two year age classes as shown below:
· 5 & 6 year olds - Pee Wee and Junior Pee Wee
· 7 & 8 year olds - CCC, CC and C
· 9 & 10 year olds - BBB, BB and B
· 11 & 12 year olds in football - AAA, AA and A
· 11 thru 14 year olds in cheer – AAA, AA and A

Uniform & Equipment Fitting
All participants must complete the online registration process prior to coming for uniform & equipment fitting. We will be happy to assist you with that process during one of the fitting dates listed below. Please be sure to allow for additional time as we will have a limited number of computers available.
- July 14, 2012 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- July 15, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- July 21, 2012 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
All uniform & equipment fitting will be held at Charlie Daniels Park field house office. No appointment is required. Your child must be present for uniform and equipment fittings, no exceptions.
Coaches
MJYFC has partnered with Sports Sign Up & LexisNexis to allow for a more detailed application and screening process for all Head and Assistant Coaches beginning the 2011 season. Those interested in applying for any coaching position must complete the Coach Background process on our registration web site. There is a $12.00 processing fee regardless of approval to coach. Those wishing to help with team support should register thru the volunteer links.
Coaches must also be certified by The National Alliance of Youth Sports. You can go to their web site at www.nays.org and complete your certification on line. Please print your temporary card and turn a copy in to the office.
Refunds
Registration refunds will only be given if all equipment and/or uniforms are returned in their original condition. Written request must be submitted in writing to the league office via email to info@mjyfc.org or hand written note dropped at the league office. No refunds will be given after August 10, 2012, regardless of participation. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
