PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING

ATTENDANCE
Attendance is expected at all or most of the games. Due to the nature of the field situation in New York City, however, we do not know the exact times and locations of the games at this time. There is enormous demand for limited field space and both the city Parks Department and private facilities often do not let us know the status of our applications until right before the season begins. Still - as always - we are doing everything we can to obtain the best fields and times. For example, we have already submitted applications for Pier 40, Chelsea Waterside Park, East River Park, Thomas Jefferson Park, DeWitt-Clinton, Riverside Park, Asphalt Green and Riverbank State Park.

We do know that all games will take place at different times on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season and that the fields will be in or near Manhattan.

We wish we can be more specific and greatly appreciate your patience and flexibility but again, we ask that before you register you consider whether or not you can make the necessary commitment based on the information available at this time. Some games will begin, for instance, as late as 9 pm on Saturday evening. Before you sign up, please make sure this works for you.

PLAYOFFS
You must be present at 50% or more of regular season games in order to be eligible for the playoffs. Captains will submit attendance rosters to the head referee at each game.

NO-TOLERANCE POLICY
Intentional or overt acts of hostility or aggression, whether physical or verbal, will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the game for a first offense and season-ending suspension for a second. Acts of overly aggressive behavior are extensively outlined in the rules manual and will be emphatically enforced by referees, captains and the board of officers.

ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR ALCOHOL
The league runs the risk of losing its field permits if alcohol is found at the field. Alcohol will not be tolerated at any game or playing field. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the field.

If you feel you cannot abide by these policies, we strongly advise you NOT to register for the spring season.
