2010 Online Registration!

To create, develop and maintain the highest quality youth football and cheerleading sports program in Western New York. Our program will focus on teaching and developing fundamental football skills as well as promoting and assisting in building essential qualities in our young people.

Note: Registration for both JV football teams is now CLOSED.

Note: Rosters for both Freshman football teams is now CLOSED.

Cost: $100 plus $25 volunteer fee per participant, max. volunteer fee is $50 per family

HJK League Age Participation guidelines:

- All participants will be entering grades 1-10 during the calendar year of the season

- Any player who turns 15 prior to November 15th and/or entering the 10th grade may not be listed on a NYSPHSAA Junior Varsity or Varsity roster

- All Pee Wees must be in 3rd grade or under and may not reach their 9th birthday before 11/15. Minimum age is 6 yrs old by 8/1/09

- All Freshmen must be in 5th grade or under and may not reach their 11th birthday before 11/15

- All JV's must be in 7th grade or under and may not reach their 13th birthday before 11/15

- All Varsity must be in 10th grade or under and may not reach their 16th birthday before 11/15

Important !!!! Players which were on 2008 HJK rosters may be grandfathered under the previous age cutoff guidelines. Players born between 8/1/96 and 11/14/98 will be grandfathered to former age, weight and division rule for Freshman and JV levels only. Any player on a 2008 HJK Pee Wee roster will be grandfathered for the 2009 and 2010 seasons only. All NEW players will be bound by the current Age Participation Guidelines above. THE LEAGUE IS THE OFFICIAL KEEPER OF THE GRANDFATHERED PLAYER LIST, if you have any questions regarding this please contact Chris Wood at cwood6030@gmail.com to verify your son/daughter is on the grandfathered list.

Brief Description:

Online registration shall be open for veteran football players, cheerleaders and siblings of veterans ONLY beginning March 20th and open to all registrants beginning April 10th after 2pm. Any new players registering online before April 10th at 2pm will be deleted from the system and will have to re-register in person or online during the times indicated. Roster spot preference will be given to veterans through April 10th, all new and veteran players registering after this date will be on a first come first served basis for those rosters which may be filled. By league rule, rosters may not exceed 40 players and players 37 thru 40 are technically on a waiting list until the roster is set prior to the first game. Waiting list player order is determined by time of registration, with the earliest being first.

Note: A Veteran Football Player or Cheerleader is a participant who was on a 2009 HJK roster, all others who register during the veteran only registration period will be put on a waiting list until open registration begins on April 10th and will be slotted as described above on a first come first served basis.

What to bring 1st week of practice:

1. proof of physical dated after August 1, 2009

2. current photograph

3. copy of birth certificate (new players and cheerleaders only)

Coaches:

Only those coaches which have been pre-certified and contacted by the OPLLF coaching coordinator may register themselves online as coaches. There is no charge to register as a coach and doing so will give you online access to your team roster during the season for purposes of emailing and tracking information on your players.

If you are interested in helping out in any manner with OPLLF please register yourself as a volunteer and specify your area of interest, again there is no charge to register as a volunteer.

In Person Registration
In person registration will be held on April 10th at the OP Middle School. Registrations will be accepted from returning veterans from 9am-11am, registrations will be accepted from new players from 11am-2pm.
