MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay  is the only all-in-one sports management solution that combines online registration, sports organization management and a fully-integrated online store backed by the quality, selection and service of the world’s largest athletic retailer. We make it easy for your participants to register, volunteer, and buy their spiritwear year round – anytime, anywhere. If you don’t typically register players/volunteers online, MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay can be used as a stand-alone eCommerce solution. This service will save your organization time and provide a steady stream of fundraising revenue.

Q. Who is Eastbay?

A. Eastbay, a division of Foot Locker, Inc., is a leading world supplier of athletic footwear, apparel and sports equipment featuring top athletic brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Under Armour, and hundreds more.  Established in 1980 to meet the performance needs of high school and college athletes, today that mission takes Eastbay's catalogs and website around the globe. Eastbay also features its own clothing brand, offering jackets, pants, shorts, and tops in a variety of team colors and styles, all with the signature Eastbay logo.

Q. Who is SportsSignup?

A. SportsSignup, owned and operated by League Sports Services LLC, provides sports organizations with a fully-integrated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to facilitate online sports registration, online merchandise sales, fundraising, and coach/volunteer background checking. Since 2003, the company has been dedicated to operating a secure, affordable, and hassle-free online registration platform that enables administrators from hundreds of soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, hockey, and many other sports organizations to spend more time on the playing field by automating many aspects of their duties.

Q. How does MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay work?

A. MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay allows your organization to become an online 24/7 retailer of merchandise fulfilled through Eastbay, Inc., through your SportsSignup site. This means you can select your own spiritwear items from Eastbay’s extensive inventory, have them embellished with your own logo/art, and post them for sale to your members using SportsSignup’s administrative tools. Your members will use the same shopping cart they use for registrations (if applicable), so merchandise and registrations are in the same unified purchase experience. This means both registrations and merchandise can be purchased with a single credit card transaction!  Because of the seamless integration with the registration process, your organization will sell more items, and this translates to more fundraising dollars. Note that if you don’t typically register players/volunteers online, MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay can be used as a stand-alone eCommerce solution.

Q. How much can our organization earn/profit from store fundraising?

A. MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay can quickly become your organization’s most successful fundraising tool. This new service provides a year round revenue stream and eliminates the hassle of operating your own store. Unlike other services that cut you a meager commission for apparel sales, you are the retailer. This means that you purchase items at low wholesale prices from Eastbay, and set your own price for the items – you keep all the profit, not the retailer.

For example, with other companies, your profit on the sale of a $20.00 logo tee shirt might be $3.50. Through MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay, your profit for the same item would be more than $12.00 - that’s more than 3X!

Q. Can the system be used as a stand-alone online store?

A. Yes. If online registration is not a requirement for your organization, or you use some other method to register members for your events, MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay can be used as a stand-alone eCommerce solution.

Q. Can our members make purchases separate from the registration process?

A. Yes. Purchases can be made 24/7, with or without “registrations” taking place.

Q. How can we market MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay to our members?

A. We will provide you with product “widgets” to include on your website to promote your new online store. A “widget” is a graphical advertisement that links to your online store that can be easily inserted on your organization’s website. These widgets are available in different standard banner sizes, so you can have a subtle presentation or make a big splash!

We also have a staff of graphic artists prepared to assist you in creating flyers, e-mail blasts, and other marketing materials to help your organization promote the web store to players, coaches, family and friends. These promotional services are included free of charge with your MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay account.

Q. How much time and effort will it take to administer MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay?

A. Most of the effort happens at the initial configuration and setup of your store, and we will strive to make this an easy and hassle-free process.  After your store is activated, Eastbay will send you monthly sales updates.  Your MySportsStore Sales Associate will inform you when inventory levels run low, and will automatically re-stock your inventory when requested.  

Merchandise & Inventory

Q. What kind of merchandise can we make available in the store?

A. Initially, spiritwear items are available for sale, typically priced as fundraiser items. For example, tee shirts, hooded sweatshirts, hats, bags, and other accessories. All items can be embellished with your logo/colors. Future versions of the service will include uniforms and other general merchandise.

Q. Who "owns" the merchandise? How and when do we pay for merchandise sold?

A. Your organization owns all merchandise sold through MySportsStore. Your organization will be required to execute a Purchase Agreement directly with Eastbay for your initial inventory, which includes low-threshold minimums so items can be pre-stocked for immediate shipment. Payment to Eastbay for goods is not required until items have been sold through your web store.

Q. Can we get “name brand” stuff?

A. With MySportsStore - Powered by Eastbay, you have the ability to choose from the largest selection of products, including the hottest brands in the industry like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Under Armour, and hundreds more to create a store that is unique with products customized with your organization’s colors and logos.

Q. How do we price our merchandise?

A. Because your organization is the retailer, you set your own prices for items sold in the online store. For example, if you are selling a custom logo hooded sweatshirt, and the total wholesale costs is $16, you can elect to offer that item for $20 (cost plus approximate transaction fees), or at $25, $30, etc. The higher your price, the higher your fundraising profit. Your MySportsStore Sales Associate will be happy to discuss suggested retail pricing for your organization based on your needs and objectives.

Q. How does inventory get replenished?

A. Your dedicated MySportsStore Sales Associate monitors your organization’s inventory levels on a daily basis. Your representative will contact you directly to discuss all replenishment suggestions.

Q. What are your customization capabilities?

A. We have a fully functional, in-house Customization Department.  We will offer screen-print, heat seal, embroidery, and tackle twill embellishment options.  We can also create and apply club patches and other more elaborate embellishment options. 

Q. Does it cost extra for artwork and logo development?

A. No. You can send your existing artwork (if you available), to Eastbay. Expert graphical designers will work with you to create original logo art, fine tune what you already have, and/or make suggestions on appropriate art based on the fabric you have selected.
