Thank you for visiting the San Marcos Girls Softball League On-Line Registration gateway. Through this site you will be able to register players. To sign up as a volunteer manager, coach, team parent, etc., please complete an online registration (No Cost) for each adult.
San Marcos Girls Softball is a league that allows players of all ages to play regardless of ability. During the rec ball season we offer competitive play and interleague play (to allow girls in 8U - 14U to play teams from different cities) and an end-of-season Tournament. Trophies are awarded for 1st and 2nd place in the tournament. ALL participants will receive a participation award.
After registering you will receive an email with information about player evaluations.
6U - No Player evaluations - Kids are grouped by schools where possible.
8U - 14U - Player Evaluations are conducted to help coaches select their teams.
ALL Girls are placed on a team regardless of ability.
8U - 12U evaluations are January 16th.
Refer to the website (Link) and/or any specific email you may receive before the 16th of January. Team Managers will be in contact with you once your child is placed on a specific team.
14U Evaluations are scheduled for January 23rd.
Practices are usually once or twice a week until play begins on February 20th. After games begin most teams will only hold one practice per week.

Add Adults and Children
After creating an account the next step is to add Adults and Children to the family account. All adults and children affiliated with an account are all listed on one screen. This is helpful when trying to register more than one family memebr or one family member for multiple sessions.
SNACK BAR BUYOUT CHANGE:
In order to better manage the snackbar Buyouts and Deposits all Families will pay either a $25 buyout fee or a $25 Deposit. The deposit helps ensure that you show up for your shift. If you show up to work we will give your $25 back at that time. If you fail to show up for your service we will keep the $25 for the league.
