SYSO is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, organizing and administering youth sports programs for the children of Somers.The Philosophy of SYSO is to encourage a healthy level of competition while stressing safety and participation for all, regardless of skill or ability. This is accomplished through programs that are both recreational and educational for children and their parents.

There are several winter sports and try as we may, unavoidable conflicts do occur between sports programs. When you register, you become part of a team. Unless special circumstances apply you are expected to be present at all practices and meets.Enrollment in the league is a commitment. If you are assigned to a team and fail to attend sessions your teammates and the league are affected negatively. Please register your child only if you plan for them to attend all meets and practices.
