Welcome to Stoughton Area Baseball Association online registration. The following is a program description of each of our summer baseball levels.
Junior VFW Teeners – 8th Grade
This is the transition year to the full-sized 90 foot diamonds. Based upon numbers, we will field two evenly divided teams for participation in the competitive Dane County Babe Ruth League. A combined tournament team is formed for additional play on weekends (additional fees). Junior VFW focus is on player development at a variety of positions, developing pitchers and team dynamics on the larger diamond.
Home field is Norse Park with games typically played on Mondays & Thursdays starting in late May and running though Mid July. Pre season indoor practices will be scheduled in early April with a team formation tryout in Late April.

Player fee is $155.00 and includes cap and jersey. Metal spikes are allowed. Bat must be -3 weight to length ratio, BBCOR rated. White pants with single black pipe stripe provided by players – recommended Alleson Athletic Model 605PLP available at Badger Sporting Goods (@$25.00). Black baseball belt provided by player. Purple socks provided by player.
Each player and one parent is expected to work the Syttende Mai Food Stand. You will be assigned a time slot. SABA reserves the right to assign players to teams where they will best succeed and progress.
Senior VFW Teeners – 9th Grade
We will field one competitive team for participation in the Dane County Teener League with a goal of winning the VFW State Tournament. Home field is Norse Park and the team will play about 20 games in weekday games and weekend tournaments. Senior VFW focus is on player development, team dynamics and pitching. Players may be moved up or down a level depending upon ability and program numbers. The team is formed following the High School season.
Senior VFW players purchase their Stoughton Summer Jersey for $40.00 which used for this season and for future American Legion Baseball seasons.

Post 59 Stoughton American Legion Baseball
We will field two competitive teams for play in both the Junior Legion and Senior Legion Leagues. Home field is SHS and each team will play about 25 games in weekday games and weekend tournaments with a goal of winning the American Legion State Tournament. Program focus is on opportunity, player development, team dynamics and pitching. Players may be moved up or down a level depending upon ability and program numbers. A tryout is held following the High School season to assign players.
The Legion Program is open to Stoughton Players currently in Grades 10-12 plus College players who are age eligible (born after 1992).
American Legion players wear their Stoughton Summer Jersey typically purchased in Senior VFW year. If you do not have a Jersey or need a new one, include the $40.00 Jersey Fee with registration.
