WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 weeks – beginning the week of 3/19/12.
WHERE: Recreation Center, Van Tassell Park, Rt. 139, Somers
TIME: 9:15 a.m. to 12 noon
FEE: $210.00 per day for the twelve week session
Since 1982, the Tot Time Program has enticed children to reach for the sky while enjoying the journey. Our dedicated instructors (each with over 24 years experience,) provide a consistent schedule of age appropriate activities which include opportunities for children to explore their environment through, group, individual hands-on, outdoor movement (playground,) dramatic play, and free play activities. Through these many opportunities, children are able to work on their social skills and problem solving, while preparing for kindergarten.
PLEASE NOTE:
•A minimum of 10 participants is needed to run each class. Classes with less than 10 participants will be canceled
•Additional days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) may be added if interest warrants.

Spring Tot Time Registration:
In the event a program you are registering your child for becomes full, you have the option to place your child on a waitlist. If a position opens before the start of the program you will be contacted via email.
* Registration for Brewster Ice Arena, Imagine Tomorrow, Lincolndale Martial Arts, My Gym, Solaris Sports Club and Zephyr Farms programs will need to fill out a registration form and a check payable to that company and mail it to: Somers Department of Parks & Recreation , PO Box 46, Somers NY 10589
GETTING STARTED
Select “log in” and follow the prompt to create a new account. You will only need to set up one account for the family, even if you have more than one child you are registering. Please make sure all adults in the family are listed on the account. Once your account has been set up you can use the same account to register each time.
HELPFUL HINTS
Be sure to hit the “save” key after each screen (located in the lower left hand corner of the screen) Please use complete mailing address when registering your child/ren. Make sure to add all phone numbers—identify home, work and cell. Select “check out” key to complete registration. If at any time during the registration process you need assistance, please contact the Recreation office at 232-8441.
Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO USE MY CHARGE CARD/DEBIT CARD FOR PAYMENT?
A: Not at this time. Payment will be accepted by check, made payable to the Town of Somers. Please mail to: P.O. Box 46, Somers, NY 10589.
Q: WHAT INFORMATION WILL I NEED?
A: General household information, as well as child’s doctor’s name and phone number, emergency contact name/s and phone number/s, and any medical problems we should be aware of. If your child is new to our program, a birth certificate must be included with your payment.
Q: WILL I RECEIVE A RECEIPT/CONFIRMATION?
A: You may print a receipt after completing your child/ren’s registration on-line by selecting “My Account Balance.” You will be notified with an e-mail confirmation after receipt of your check and posting to your account. You can then print a receipt with amount paid at any time by logging into "My Account Balance."
Q: CAN I REGISTER IN PERSON?
A: No, all registration must be completed on-line. If you have problems registering on the computer, please contact us at 232-8441 for further instructions.
Q: CAN I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR MORE THAN ONE PROGRAM?
A: Yes, before you click on "check out" to complete your order, click on “register another person”, and once again click “register” next to your child’s name and select an additional program. Please make sure to click on “check out” to complete your order.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
A:Refund Policy:
Programs are contingent on registration. A refund or credit will be given for any program cancelled by the Recreation Department. A pro-rated credit will be considered if a participant moves from Town, or if a participant cannot attend because of illness and provides a physician's note stating that this is the case. Refunds are pro-rated and will not be issued after the half-way point in a program. An administrative service fee of $10.00 will be charged for any refunds, except for cancelled programs. No credit will be given past the halfway point in any program. Credit is good for one year from the date of issue.
