******Official Troy Turkey Trot Charities******
During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to give to the Clothe-A-Child program. Clothe-A-Child serves children ages 4-12 providing warm new clothing for winter. This includes coats, boots, mittens, hats, pants, shirts, underwear, and socks. Children are chosen from local elementary schools, social services, pre-schools, head start programs and churches. Volunteers from those organizations take the children shopping where each child is allotted $100 tax free. The Record newspaper covers all program administration costs, 100% of all donations received go towards clothing for children. On this Thanksgiving Day Holiday when we take time to give “thanks” for our family, our health, our friends and all the material blessings that we have, we hope that you will remember those less fortunate and consider making a “Donation of Thanks” to this very worthwhile cause.
