The Welland Minor Basketball Association was established in 1970. It grew from a local church league into an association that administered recreational basketball for children in several communities. The league was established to provide children, who pursue the sport of basketball, a chance to develop their skill in an organized and supervised manner in the city of Welland. We are a non-profit organization that depends on volunteers to run the league and to provide coaching for the teams.
