Baseball age is the registrants age on 4/30/2012

Registration Fees

T-Ball, Farm League and Rookie $110

A, AA, AAA and Majors $130
Juniors, Seniors and Big League $190

Each family is assessed a fee in lieu of a fundraiser of $35.00.

Each family is assessed a refundable participation fee of $50.00 that is returned when a member of the family 16 years of age or older works in the snack bar for 2 hours.

Junior, Senior and Big League families will not be assessed the participation fee unless they have another family member in a lower division.

YOUR CHILD CANNOT TRYOUT UNTIL FULL REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED.

THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATIONS DURING TRYOUTS.

DO NOT COME TO TRYOUTS IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED.

ATTENTION SENIORS

The Senior Division is on a first come-first served basis. Any registrants that register AFTER we have 15 registrants will be wait listed.

ATTENTION MANAGER AND COACH CANDIDATES

If you want to be considered as a coach or manager, you must register on this site (it is free). If you are not registered, you will not be considered. The Board of Directors reviews all coach and manager requests and makes a final decision for each division.

Most of our players attend West Nyack, Bardonia and Strawtown elementary schools.
All players must reside within the boundaries of West Nyack Little League.

The only exception to this rule is those players, ages 5 and 6, who reside within the boundaries of the New City Little League.
Because New City Little League starts at age 7, players from NCLL may participate in our Tee-Ball and Farm League Divisions.

Current players who have moved out of West Nyack are still eligible to play in West Nyack Little League.

WNLL IS OPEN TO BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS AGE 5 AND UP.
YOUR BASEBALL AGE IS DETERMINED BY YOUR AGE AT APRIL 30TH, 2012.

IF YOU ARE NOT 5 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ON APRIL 30TH, 2012, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY.

Please Note: PLAYERS WHO DO NOT TRYOUT CAN NOT ADVANCE TO THE NEXT DIVISION AND WILL BE INELIGIBLE TO PITCH IN ANY DIVISION.

CURRENTLY, PLAYERS IN THE JUNIOR, SENIOR AND BIG LEAGUE DIVISIONS DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN TRYOUTS.

REGISTRATION FOR SPRING, 2012:
You are using this site to register for SPRING 2012 (starting in early April, 2012 and ending around the end of June, 2012).
You can pay by credit card with on-line registration, or you can mail a check to the address provided in the registration confirmation e-mail that you will receive.

Whether you pay by credit card or check, you MUST do the following:
You must mail (1) COPY of (3) PROOFS OF RESIDENCY to the address for the West Nyack Little League. Starting this year, we only require (1) copy, not (2) copies.
Please mail your documentation to us, also include your check, unless you paid by credit card.

FIRST TIME REGISTRANTS:
If you are registering in our league for the first time, in addition to sending in the proofs of residency, you MUST go to the WNLL clubhouse with your son or daughter's ORIGINAL birth certificate (once the league examines the original certificate, it will be immediately returned).
You MUST leave (1) COPY of the birth certificate with us for our files. Starting this year, we only require (1) copy, not (2) copies for our files.

PLEASE NOTE: You are not fully registered until you have registered on-line, you have paid for registration by credit card or check AND you have mailed the required documentation. If you are a first time registrant, you must come to the clubhouse with a birth certificate, both original and (1) copy.

PARTICIPATION FEE:

Each family is assessed a $50 participation fee which is refundable once the family's assigned snack bar duty is fulfilled. Any member of a family, 16 years of age or older, can serve that assignment. Families with multiple registrants will have any additional assessed participation fees reduced at checkout.

CURRENTLY, FAMILIES WITH PLAYERS IN THE JUNIOR, SENIOR AND BIG LEAGUE DIVISIONS ARE NOT ASSESSED A PARTICIAPITION FEE. HOWEVER, IF SIBLINGS ARE REGISTERED IN A MAJORS OR LOWER DIVISION, THE FAMILY WILL BE ASSESSED THE PARTICIPATION FEE AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER AT OUR SNACK BAR IN ORDER TO GET THE $50 RETURNED.

FAMILY FEE (in lieu of fund raising):
Each family is assessed a family fee in lieu of doing a fund raiser. This amount is $35. In the past, most families prefer being assessed a fee rather than having their children come home with candy, etc. to sell. Families with multiple registrants will have any additional family fees reduced at checkout.

DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS FROM THE SAME FAMILY

IMPORTANT! PLEASE REGISTER ALL THE MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY AT THE SAME TIME IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE $10 CREDIT PER PLAYER FOR MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS (FROM THE SAME FAMILY) AND TO HAVE THE PARTICIPATION FEE AND FAMILY FEE REDUCED FOR MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS.

IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER ALL OF THE PLAYERS IN YOUR FAMILY AT THE SAME TIME, YOU WILL NOT GET THE DISCOUNT OR THE REDUCTION IN FEES.*

REFUND POLICY: In 2011, West Nyack Little League changed their refund policy. Once a player has been placed on a team, and he/she subsequently decides to withdraw, refunds will not be made.
Therefore, no refunds will be made after November 19, 2012. Exceptions to this policy can only be made by the Board of West Nyack Little League on a case by case basis.
It is the opinion of the Board that refunds will only be considered in rare circumstances.
