Welcome to another exciting season of Little League baseball, softball, and tee ball. For 2012 the Yorktown JAA has
added a new "Single A" baseball division for six year old players and is thrilled to finally move into our new home
at the Yorktown Sports Park. The facility at the Sports Park includes a

first true home of the Yorktown Junior/Senior League Baseball.

WHO CAN PLAY? Yorktown JAA Little League Baseball, Softball, and Tee Ball is open to all players who meet the age
and residency limitations imposed by Little League. Players are required to provide documented age and residency proof before
being placed on a Yorktown Little League team. Copies of proof of residency documents can be e-mailed to Yorktown JAA Player Agent Jim
Kemp (jim.kemp@yorktownjaa.org), or may be turned in during in person registration sessions (February 28, March 3, March 10), or at

PROOF OF AGE
|
|
Players are required to provide JAA with a copy of their birth certificate. For your convenience, JAA maintains a database of
scanned birth certificates provided by players in previous years. To find out if your player's birth certificate is in our database
CLICK HERE. If your player's birth certificate does not appear and you feel it should please e-mail Yorktown JAA Player Agent Jim Kemp

PROOF OF RESIDENCY
|
|
Players must present proof that they live within the Little League approved geographic boundaries of the Yorktown Little League, as shown below
in green. Proof of residency must be from the residence of either parent or the player's court-appointed legal guardian. Accepted proof of residency
items are documents with an address on them such as utility bills,
report cards, driver's licenses, dated or in force between February 1, 2011 and February 1, 2012.
Little League accepts residency waiver requests, and typically will allow players who live outside of the league's boundary to play during the
regular league season, but restricts them from playing on All-Star tournament teams.
