The Amsterdam Youth Soccer Club (AYSC) is an independent youth organization run solely by volunteers generating all of its revenues from player registrations, sponsorships, and fund raisers. The Amsterdam Youth Soccer Club is not supported by City, State, or Government Agencies. The official address for the club is: Amsterdam Youth Soccer Club PO Box 582, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

The AYSC became a reality in 1990, with 60 kids playing on 4 travel teams.

The AYSC expanded its program in the fall of 1990 to include a recreational program.

In 1995, The AYSC expanded once again to include a recreational spring season.

The spring of ’03 brought some disappointment to the club when the recreational spring season was discontinued due to lack of players.

In 2006 the recreational spring season was reinstituted when numerous requests were received. This will also be the first year in which the recreational program will be outfitted in a full soccer uniform including jersey, shorts and socks.

The Fall 2006 program was a very well recieved program for all involved.

We are looking forward to a great 2012 season for travel and rec, and online registration is something we all have been striving for to make the entire process for everyone.
