Catskill, NY 12414 WE ARE NOW REGISTERING PLAYERS FOR THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS: SPRING TRAVEL 2009 This program is for the "skilled" soccer player interested in playing at a higher level of competition than can be offered playing in our recreational programs. Participation is in the CDYSL Spring Season. Players play on girls and boys teams in age groups of under10, 12, 14, 16, 17, & 19 years of age in divisions based upon team abilities set by CDYSL. CDYSL also offers small-sided divisions for under 8 and 10 teams. The season consists of a twelve game schedule, with six home and six away games. A player must commit themselves to the practice sessions and games, as the team is dependent on their participation. Parents must commit to the transportation of their player. Practice sessions normally start in late February or early March with the season ending around July 4th. The season is demanding of the player and parent, but the rewards of playing against other teams from the Capital District with the same abilities far outweigh the comitment.
