New: US Club Affiliation…
US Club Affiliation – 2009/2010 Season - $25.00
The Net @ Golds Gym Affiliation
To support the newly created affiliation requirements at The Net in Poughkeepsie for the Fall ’09 Indoor Soccer Season the EHWSL is allowing players to affiliate directly with US Club Soccer through the EHWSL. This process allows you to register online at this site to meet the new requirements.
As a new registrant you will need to e-mail a scanned copy of the signed the liability waiver form found on the league home page at www.ehwsl.org, along with a photo of yourself for your pass (a copy of a drivers license is great). E-mail is the perfect way to deliver this so that your pass can be created. Please send the materials to ehwslinc@gmail.com
We think that it's important for you to understand that if you decide to affiliate with one of the Net's other partners and should you decide to play for a team within EHWSL in the Spring '10 or Summer '10 seasons you would have to pay an additional $25 affiliation charge to affiliate with US Club Soccer at that time. Affiliating with us now removes the risk of being charged for affiliation twice.
Those players that are already registered for the Fall ’09 EHWSL outdoor season are already covered by using the US Club Soccer pass that you all have received. Please ensure that you bring this pass to each game that you play.
Old: Fall '09 EHWSL Outdoor Registration
Special Note:
All players playing in the fall of 2009 will be required to pay the $65 affiliation fee. There are also new registration requirments due to our newly established affiliate U.S. Club all players will be required to email a photo of themselves to EHWSLinc@gmail.com and download and send in the liability waiver from the EHWSL home page. More information will be available on the players registration receipt.
A Division- Competitive- Alternating Sat and Sun mornings 9:00/9:30am
11 v 11 / Fields: TBA
Competitive atmosphere. Teams tend to have a lot of experience playing together and the players skills are evenly balanced. Players in this division have played for an extended amount of time in their life and at a moderate to high level of soccer. A player with good skills, but moderate fitness can still do well in this division. Generally you need good skills and/or fitness to play in this division. If you have had a lot of experience playing soccer at one time, still consider yourself competitive, are still playing competitively, and you have moderate to great fitness you should start here.
B Division -Beginners/Recreational- Weekends -Day and Time TBD
7v7 small sided/ 45 min halves/Fields TBD
Recreational but still a competitive atmosphere. Generally division B has new players experiencing the game of soccer for the first time (as players). New teams trying to work on team play, or friends with various skill levels (less than 4 years experience) that want to play together for fun!
Highly to moderate skilled players might find this division frustrating. New players with moderate to good fitness may want to start here.
C Division- Semi-Competitive- Sunday mornings 9:00 am
7v7 Small sided/ Fields: Creek Road, other TBA
This semi-competitve league is open aged, but most players are over the age of 25.
There is a mix of experienced as well as beginning players. Fitness levels also vary. This division is for the player that has had more than 4 years experience, is looking for a challenge but not as competitive as the A division.
Semi-Competitive atmosphere, the soccer is always competitive, but if you like to yell and scream a lot and to knock people around, this is not the division for you. A player with good skills, but moderate fitness can do well in this division. New players with great fitness may want to start here. Highly skilled players might find this division frustrating unless playing with friends.
CLAUSE: The organisers will have the right to move up or down any teams/players that have over-estimated or under-estimated their ability or to combine divisions where there may be insufficient entries on one particular category. The intention of the divisions is to ensure as much as possible that teams/players are evenly matched
