Travel Soccer Spring 2009
Travel Soccer is available to children ages 9 through 19
Spring travel teams compete against other teams from the Capital District area. Practices and games are each played twice a week. Skills, team play, and sportmanship are emphasized.
Teams will be formed based on registrations received before January 1st. The Club can only commit to teams that have a minimum of 10 players for U10-U12 and 14 players for U14-U16.
Each team must have a Volunteer Coach registered prior to January 1st. The Club can not commit to a team without a Volunteer Coach.
All Travel Coaches are required to have a coaching liscense. The Club will pay any interested volunteer to obtain a liscense. Please contact the Travel Registrar for more information.
Effective Spring 2009 all travel registrations must be entered for the current age of the player. Requests to play up will be considered by the games committee.
Rec / In-House Soccer Spring 2009
The Rec/In-House program is open to children in grades Kindergarten through Sixth.
Rec soccer is played at the George Helft Soccer Complex on South Street. Practices are usually once a week and games are played on Saturdays.
The basic philosophy of the program is to develop a passion for the game through skill, development, and sportsmanship. Games are non-result oriented with a focus on having fun (Kids First).
Recreational Plus 2008/2009
Rec Plus soccer allows players to compete with local teams in Indoor play or Tournament play. It does not allow for Outdoor league play.
