LaGrange Travel Soccer for 2008/09
The LaGrange Soccer Club offers travel divisions for both boys and girls U8- U19 and these teams play in the East Hudson League.
LaGrange Soccer: The LaGrange Soccer Program is offered to all children 4 years and older. Children born between 8/1/03 and 7/31/04 are eligible to play for their first time in the U-5 division. The program provides skills instruction for all age divisions. U5-U8 is a co-ed division. For LaGrange the Fall season runs from September to November and the Spring season from April to June. Middlepath FC is year round. Please Select the Correct Program when registering: LaGrange Soccer offers several programs for various levels of play. Our Special Needs Program is offered for children and adults with disabilities. Our other programs are Intramural (U5-U10), and (U11-U18), Travel (U8-U19), Middlepath FC for the top youth soccer players in the region and Adult (Over 30 and Over 40 recreational competition). Please Note: You will need a valid e-mail address to register and to receive information from the Club. Mandatory Equipment: Remember the five S's: Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Shoes, Shin guards Goalkeeper's jersey is to be distinct from the remainder of team, referee, and assistants. Soccer cleats: Sneakers are not recommended since they tend to be slippery and can cause foot injury on the grassy field. Shin guards: Shin guards are mandatory for both practice and games. No exceptions. Soccer socks need to completely cover your child's shin guards during practice and games. Soccer Ball: The different age divisions use the following size soccer balls: U5 & U6 - size 3 U7 - U12 - size 4 U13 and up - size 5
Please note that registration fees are as follows before June 15, 2007: U5-U10 - $85.00; U12-U19 - $100 per child. If you register after June 15 2007 there is a $20 late fee charge added to the above fees. PLEASE NOTE: All new youth players to LaGrange Soccer MUST submit a birth certificate by mail to: Ellen Johnson, Post Office Box 101, LaGrangeville, NY 12540. Failure to do will void registration. Please visit our websites for more information at www.LaGrangeSoccer.org and www.middlepath-fc.org IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PARENT/GUARDIAN DUTIES FOR OUR INTRAMURAL AND TRAVEL PROGRAMS LaGrange Soccer Club has a premier soccer facility at Stringham Park for your children and your support is essential to its success. As the parent or legal guardian, you will need to perform concession duties for at least three (3) hours per year. If you do not fulfill concession requirements, your children’s participation in LaGrange Soccer Club may be in jeopardy for the following year. FOR QUESTIONS REGARDING LAGRANGE SOCCER, PLEASE CONTACT OUR REGISTRAR: ELLEN JOHNSON at: ecjohnston@optonline.net FOR QUESTIONS REGARDING MIDDLEPATH FC SOCCER, PLEASE CONTACT: Dan Nittolo dfn781@optonline.net
EHYSL is now requiring a signed Parental Code of Conduct form to accompany all travel registrations and LaGrange Soccer Club is also requiring it for all intramural and inter-town players. In an attempt to make this easier for you, SportsSignup has added this form to the current medical release PDF that many of you already link to. When a parent prints off this PDF, there will be two pages that need to be signed and returned (the Medical Waiver and the Parental Code of Conduct).
