MISS SHEN SOFTBALL YOUTH CATCHING CLINIC – will be held on Wednesdays Feb. 29, March 7, 14, 21, 28 and April 4 from 7pm-8pm for girls ages 8-12 at The Sports Barn Recreation Center in Halfmoon. The clinic is open to girls from throughout the Capital District area and will be instructed by Norm Hayner of Hayner Brothers Baseball and Softball Academy. The clinic cost is $100 for Miss Shen players and $115 for non-Miss Shen players. Girls are expected to bring full catcher's equipment each session.

The Miss Shen travel program is a competitive program and is a separate program and is distinctly different from Miss Shen recreation program. Positions and playing time are earned. There is no guarantee of playing time or that your daughter will play her favorite position. Playing time and fielding positions are assigned at the discretion of the coaching staff and will be made based on the needs of the team and the player’s performance.
Girls born between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2003 are eligible. Girls must be 2012 Registered Miss Shen Players.
Tryouts for all - March 4th, 4pm to 8pm at High School East (Makeup date March 11th, 5pm to 9pm).
Tryouts for pitchers/catchers - March 3rd- 9am to 11:30am at High School West gym.

Rec season starts late April and continues through mid-June. All players who register before February 28th 2012 are guaranteed a team shirt and visor. Please see Miss Shen website for more detailed information regarding the Recreational League.
There will be a $10 fee for registrations received after 2/28/12.
