Discover Papermaking and More! - Summer 2009
Boys/Girls, ages 8-12
Learn the ancient Art of Papermaking and design one of a kind art paper sheets suitable for framing. The class will also have fun "upcycling" magazines and other materials into unique and practical items like wallets, pencil cases and iPod (or other MP3) covers.
The program runs July 7th to July 10th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. The fee for this program is $60 (includes all materials).

Flag Football League 2009
Boys/Girls - ages 5-13 years
Learn basic football fundamentals, sportsmanship, team work and make new friends while playing flag football. This program runs Sundays, June 7th - July 12th (no class on July 5th) from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.

Girls Field Hockey 2009 - Session 1 (4th - 7th grade)
This is a camp for girls in grades 4th to 7th(as of fall '09). The program runs July 13th to July 16th from 9:00am - 10:30am.

Girls Field Hockey 2009 - Session 2 ( 8th grade and older)
This is a camp for girls in grades 8th and older (as of fall '09). This camp is for older girls, and is more competitive emphasizing game strategies and playing. The program runs July 13th to July 16th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
The fee for this program is $45.

Food Funtastics 2009
Have fun in the kitchen mixing, measuring, and baking your own delicious treats. Children learn kitchen safety and make a different food each day. Not only do participants bring home delicious treats, but they also have the recipes to keep in a cookbook of their very own!

Architectural Design 2009 - Beg. & Adv. for Grades 5-6
Create and build a unique structure from your own layout and creative architectural design. Students will learn drawing, tools, and techniques used in architecture design. The group will visit the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library to introduce the "environments design concept" and a "green building."
This program is for boys and girls in 5th and 6th grade. It runs August 10th - August 14th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. The fee for this program is $65.

Ballet & Jazz - Summer 2009

Learn how to dance classical ballet and jazz technique and at the end of the session watch your child in a small demonstration recital. You will learn all of the basics of ballet and jazz including the positions, and much more, while having a great time!

2009 TOWN POOL SEASON PASSES
The town pool opens for the summer on Saturday, June 13th and closes on Monday, September 7th. Opening date is subject to change. Please call the Community Center after June 1st at 372-2519 for updated opening day information.

Fall 2009 Youth Soccer League
This soccer league is for children in kindergarten through 8th grade in fall 2009. It runs Saturdays, September 12th to October 31st. Games will be played on Saturday mornings beginning between 8:30am and 11:30am.
Please register by Friday, August 7th. Registrations received after August 7th, must include a $20 late fee/family.
Fee is $45/player (max of $75/family).
Pre-K Soccer- Fall 2009
This program gives 3 & 4 yr. olds the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of soccer. Kids will participate in a variety of skills and drills.
