Welcome Niskayuna Soccer Club Online Registration.
The Niskayuna Soccer Club promotes itself as a "town club where children can learn soccer tactics and techniques within their community." Teams are formed through an open and competitive process. Tryouts for U12 and above teams will take place in June, 2009 (see mandatory schedule below). Tryouts for U10 and U8 teams will take place in September (schedule to be announced).
Tryout Dates 2009-2010 Season :
Friday June 19 6:00-8:00 p.m. Nisky Rec Center U12 and U14 ( Boys and girls)
Tryouts for Boys and Girls ages U16 and older will be held at a later date. Please check the Niskayuna Soccer Club Website for Updates and Information concerning U16 and older tryouts.
***Objective data such as 40 yard dash, cone dribble and shuttle run times will be collected prior to June 19 at one of your child's practices by a tryout evaluator. Any objective data not collected prior to the 19th will be collected at the beginning of your child's tryout. Bubble Tryouts and Rain Dates:
Sunday, June 21 11 a.m. -2:00 p.m.
Friday June 26 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Saturday June 27 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Sunday June 28 (bubble) 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.
Specific times will be assigned based on the need for a bubble tryout for your child's age group.
Please make every effort to attend these mandatory tryouts at your assigned time and date. Please contact Tony Muller, Tryout Coordinator (APMuller13@MSN.com) as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled age-related date because of a school, another sport, or family conflict. Failure to attend your scheduled tryout dates will affect your team placement.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the tryout time to check in. You cannot attend any of your required sessions if you have not completed the online registration and medical authorization form.
Thank you for choosing the Niskayuna Soccer Club. The Niskayuna Soccer Club is run as a volunteer organization and will only be successful with the generous support of the families in our program. When you register, you must sign up for a volunteer position whether it be helping manage your child's team during the course of the year or serving as a committee member or board member to help run the club. In addition, all families are required to volunteer at least two hours per child during our Outdoor Tournament which is our biggest fundraiser in the club.
