Registration Management

Sure, those volunteers or staff who process the thousands of ink-scrawled paper registrations and take the checks to the bank are great - but wouldn't you rather put them to work with the kids? With SportsSignup, most of your families can register themselves on the web and pay by credit card! It's so much simpler. Benefits:

  • You'll save time -- having families enter their own information right into the system dramatically decreases data entry time and errors (no worries about reading handwriting)
  • You won't have to set up in-person registration times and places
  • You'll have better data -- using on-screen forms ensures people enter data you want, and picking items from lists helps reporting

Credit Card & eCheck Payments

For the families who'd prefer to pay by credit card, you can now offer that option. And -- credit card registration revenue is collected immediately! Collected funds are electronically deposited into your bank account daily through your own Merchant Account. Now you can:

  • Offer MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and eCheck  as payment methods
  • Get payments in the door a lot faster
  • Save your treasurer the hassle of depositing and recording hundreds of checks
  • Receive statements of all account activity each month
  • Accommodate mail-in check payments for those who prefer that option
  • Track payment status

Email Notification

Email is a cost effective and immediate way to contact your members.  SportsSignup lets you email whoever you want to reach -- families who registered last season, those who haven't yet registered for this season, people who have registered but haven't paid, and so on. Our system:

  • Automatically emails registration confirmations, check receipts and refunds
  • Emails forgotten passwords
  • Allows Coaches to email their teams
  • Allows Division Coordinators to email their coaches
  • Allows administrators to send an email with your content (schedules, news, game cancellations, important dates, sponsor solicitation, etc. ) to any group of registrants

Online Reporting

SportsSignup has a centralized database. When a family registers, their data is immediately reflected in a report for your league administrator. You can authorize various groups to run different reports - so coaches, league coordinators  and others have instant access to information they need. A central database means:

  • Reports are always current
  • Information can be accessed by any person you authorize, anywhere
  • No need to shuffle papers around to various people - reports have all the information anyone needs.

And you can immediately see:

  • Who's registered -- and for what
  • Which checks haven't been received
  • How much the league has collected
  • Who's volunteered to help out
  • The various grade / age / gender breakdowns

SportsSignup provides a highly secure and safe platform for managing your league.  We have selected a very reputable hosting company whose only job is to ensure that your data remains safe and available. With our system:

  • The entire system operates under SSL encryption to protect your Registrant's family and credit card information
  • Your data is backed up daily and stored in a secure database by an internationally recognized hosting company
  • League information can only be accessed by people you authorize
  • Family information is protected by a password they choose
  • Your league data is never sold or redistributed by SportsSignup in any manner
