Welcome to the Yonkers United Soccer Club (the "Club"), a non-profit organization administered by Yonkers parent volunteers. The Club organizes and oversees girls and boys travel soccer teams to play in the Westchester Youth Soccer League (“WYSL”). The “WYSL” is a league that is part of both the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and the United States Youth Soccer Association ("USYSA"). The Club also works closely with the Yonkers Parks and Recreation Department.
The objective of the Club is to provide boys and girls the opportunity to participate in a travel soccer program where they can not only enhance their soccer skills and learn the game of soccer but, through competition, learn the value of hard work, respect, teamwork, self confidence and sportsmanship, all while having fun.
The Club is currently holding practices for exisitng teams and will have player tryouts for for spaces available on exisiting teams (not all exisiting teams have roster spots available at this time). We are in the process of possibly adding some additional teams. If you are interested in playing, please e-mail yonkersunited@aol.com.
The Club is also seeking adult volunteers, including head coaches, assistant coaches and team managers, for the Spring 2012 Season.
